Ashley was born and raised in Bryan/College Station, Texas. She started her career in dance at the young age of 5 years old when she saw her cousin dancing at her annual dance recital. Pointing, smiling, and dancing along she knew the stage was her calling. She trained as a dancer for 20 years, adding on vocal training and acting coaching along the way.
After graduating from high school and receiving an Associates Degree in Dance, Ashley moved to New York City to continue her training and start her path as professional actress. Her strong training in the theatre has given Ashley the core of her talent. New York is where she learned to submerse herself in a story, bring it to life, and have an audience come along with her.
Not one for the cold weather, and after getting a few low budget feature films on her resume, Ashley ventured west to narrow her career into Film and Television. Training at Playhouse West, The Groundlings, and countless small workshops Ashley has found herself in films with huge stars such as John Travolta, Morgan Freeman, Brendan Frasier, Ron Perlman, John C. Reilly, William Forsythe and even Johnny Depp! We can't wait to see what the future holds for Ashley!
A shout out to her family:
My mother was always my dream catcher, she pushed me to follow my dreams, to get up when I fall, and to be relentless. She passed in 2015, and I miss her every day. I feel her strength when things get tough (as they so often do in this biz).
My father is my work horse. He taught me the power and value of the words yes, or no. He also would tell me that the person who wants it the most and works the hardest will eventually come out on top. Even if I just have to out-live everyone in my age demographic!
My son. My sweet angel who sacrifices so much. He is the reason I go on when I feel like quitting. My hope for him is that he finds something in this life that he loves fighting for. I hope to teach him what my mother taught me, to fight for his dreams, get up when he falls down, and to be relentless.
I love you all so very much.
